Edmund Bruce Stowe (1895-1995)
E.B. Stowe was a prolific Florida painter known for his landscapes that depicted the flora and fauna of the Sunshine State, especially near his home along the St. Johns River in Sanford. After serving in WW1, he taught art at the home that he built for over 40 years. Among his many accolades, his work was once featured in the U.S. Capitol, honoring senior citizen artists.
