A large carved wooden lamp depicting a Chinese wiseman or deity in flowing robes standing on a platform beside a rat. Rats often symbolize intelligence, adaptability, and prosperity in Chinese culture. The lamp is carved from a single piece of wood, that I believe to be rosewood, but cannot be sure.
Dimensions:
9” W x 9” D x 39” H
Condition:
Overall, this lamp is in great condition. The electronics work with no issues or concerns. The carved wood base is solid and dense. There are some minor cracks, typical or aged wood.
